Paula Trickey is a Texas-girl, and she loves country music. She served egg and beacon for eight years before she got her breakthrough.
As an eight-year-old she started to perform, and at high-school it wasn´t only her classmates that fell in love with her beutiful looks. Trickey starred in different comercials, and in 1985 she got the award "Miss Teen Oklahoma". Soon after she travelled to Hollywood to become a star. But instead of getting lots of movieoffers, Paula served tired drivers egg and beacon - for eight yeats. She changed her agent a hundred times, but guest-roles in series like Silk Stalkings, Renegade and Beverly Hills 90210 was all she got. "It takes years of hard work to become a star over night," jokes Paula. The brunette is a sporty woman, but still she wishes that she was more athletic.
Paula about Pacific Blue: "It´s a demanding series, and I would like to stay in shape. You don´t want to gain weight when you are wearing those shorts." says Trickey. Even though she admits that the actors are beautiful, she denies the fact that the looks are as important as they are in Baywatch. But it was infact a guestrole in Baywatch that gave her the role as "Cory McNamara" in Pacific Blue. Trickey enjoyes life now, but she wants to develop further. "The dream is to play a strong woman, preferably in a big movie. The movie has to be funny, romantic and full of intence action. Preferably with Tom Cruice, naked." says Paula.
