A very small “plugin” I created for Mozilla Firefox that lets you search Google Maps directly from the Firefox Search (top right hand corner of Firefox).

Her kommer en liten mini-guide på hvordan man kan se NRK Nett-TV på din DLNA-klient (feks PlayStation 3 eller Xbox 360). Jeg benytter Tversity som DLNA-server, men andre servere kan også benyttes.

Hele poenget er at man legger til en RSS-feed i DLNA-serveren din. Etter at du har gjort dette så vil du på en veldig enkel måte kunne streame videoklipp fra denne RSS-feeden.

Her finnes en oversikt over tilgjengelige RSS-feeds fra NRK: http://www.nrk.no/podkast/.

NRK tilbyr ikke RSS-feeds for alt sitt innhold enda, så her har jeg generert endel RSS-feeds ut i fra NRK sine nettsider. Disse finnes det en oversikt over her: http://www.frankburmo.com/nrk/rss/. NB: Denne RSS-listen er ikke komplett enda.

Just for fun I made some graphs of the trading of the FunCom-stock on Oslo Stock Exchange (OSE).

From the graphs it’s easy to see how the different stockbrokers are trading the stock in the past couple of days.

Open Online Spotlight is a Plugin for MediaPortal that enables you to view NRK WEB-TV in MediaPortal.

Download the plugin here: OpenOnlineSpotlight.zip

Unzip the file into your MediaPortal-folder.

The correct path for the .dll-file is:
\MediaPortal\plugins\Windows\OpenOnlineSpotlight.dll

The correct path for the .xml-file is:
\MediaPortal\skin\BlueTwo\OpenOnlineSpotlight.xml

For now you have to download the program-XML to your PC and unpack the “nrk.xml” to “C:\temp\nrk.xml”. This will be changed in next versions.

There is a bug in the list-component, so you just have to click the “View”-button (top-left) a few times until the button says “View: List”
